Established in 2006, Rishikesh Yog Peeth is registered under The Indian Societies Registration Act of 1860, to spread the ancient knowledge of yoga and ayurveda.
Since its inception, Rishikesh Yog Peeth has been involved in spreading the awareness of holistic living with the help of Vedic wisdom in the form of Yoga and Ayurveda. These two eternal streams of ancient knowledge form a comprehensive healing combination to overcome stress and its related problems and further help in evolution of mankind.
Rishikeh Yog Peeth is also affiliated with Yoga Alliance, USA as a Registered Yoga School (RYS200) and all our yoga teachers training courses fully comply with the standards set by Yoga Alliance.
Rishikesh Yog Peeth is located near Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s Ashram (also known as the Beatles’ Ashram) in the Swargashram/Ram Jhula area of Rishikesh.
Rishikesh is scenically located on the banks of the holy river Ganga (Ganges) in the foothills of the Himalayas. Our yoga/ayurveda faculty consists of 5 teachers including our guest teacher - one each for yoga philosophy, asana, ayurveda and mantra/chanting/meditation
Yoga philosophy is taught by our founder president – Yogacharya Roshan Ji . He is basically a Graduate in Commerce but he realized that this was not the stream which was meant for him. And he decided to go for yoga and related practices. During his search for a good teacher, he came in connection with a traditional Dandi Swami (one of the lineage of Dusnami Sanyasa) and was initiated into Vedanta tradition in 2000. In the year 2005-06, he founded Rishikesh Yog Peeth and since then he's been practising and teaching the philosophy of truth.
Yogacharya Roshan Ji is also frequently invited as a guest lecturer by some of the renowned yoga centres in India.
Yoga asana is taught by Yogacharya Narendra Ji. Presently, he is pursuing Master in Yoga from Garhwal University and also teaching the asana at Rishikesh Yog Peeth.
Mantra chanting, pranayama and meditation are taught by Yogacharya Sanjay Ji, one of the senior teachers at Rishikesh Yog Peeth. He is a graduate in Vedanta from Dayananda University, Tamilnadu and he's been teaching yoga for last 10 years.

Frequenting India since 1996 and gathering teaching experience at Shiva Resorts and Rishikesh Yog Peeth since 2001, we are pioneering unites in wellness activities, and healing innovation, and advanced teaching methods. Invoking healing means with respectfully and devotionally approaching spiritual wisdom of the ancient via scientific methods of 21 century.
Rishikesh Yog Peeth has residential facilities inside the centre providing comfortable staying for the guests and the yoga students amidst ashram surroundings. It has 25 rooms equipped with basic necessities like attached bath, hot and cold water supply etc.
Our ayurvedic treatment centre named “Herbs Yog Clinic” provides holistic health counseling through the assessment of individual constitution (pulse study), rejuvenation through Panchkarma and herbal cure of chronic diseases.
